Mikhzan privacy policy

What we read from your store

• Products and variants: name, SKU, price, cost and stock.
• Orders: from each order, only the product, quantity, price, status and date.
• Your store's name and email address, to send the digest to.
• Whether your prices include VAT, if you grant the app that permission.

Your shoppers' data

Mikhzan stores no data about your shoppers: no names, phone numbers, addresses or emails. Salla's order notifications include shopper details, and we remove them before the notification is stored.

What you enter

Suppliers (name, WhatsApp number, email), purchase orders, costs, settings, and the email address you choose for the digest.

How we use it

To work out forecasts, the reorder list, dead stock and margins, to prepare purchase orders, and to send the digest email. We don't sell your data or share it for advertising.

Changes to your store

Mikhzan changes nothing in your store unless you confirm it: adding received stock, and copying costs you entered. We record each change: who asked for it, what changed, and its value before and after.

Who else receives data

• Salla: the platform we read your store's data from. The app also loads its typeface from Salla's servers.
• Hetzner Online: hosts our servers and database, in Germany.
• Cloudflare: carries every connection to the app, encrypted, and stores our encrypted backups.
• Resend: sends the digest email, so it receives the recipient's address and the digest's content.

WhatsApp messages to suppliers are opened by you on your device and sent from your number. We send no messages.

Security

All connections are encrypted, and the keys to your store are encrypted in our database and kept out of our logs. Our daily backups are encrypted before they leave our server.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while the app is installed. If you uninstall it, we stop reading your store straight away, and all of your store's data is deleted after 30 days. Stored Salla notifications are deleted 30 days after they arrive in any case. Backups are kept for 30 days, so deleted data leaves them within 30 days more.

Your choices

You can turn the digest off in Settings or from the unsubscribe link in any email, and delete your data by uninstalling the app. To have it deleted sooner than 30 days, contact us.
